Cilicia, Anazarbus. Trajan. A.D. 98-117. AE 22 (22 mm, 3.59 g). Struck A.D. 107/8. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΝΕΡ ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟС СΕ ΓΕΡ ΔΑ (or similar, nearly completely illegible), laureate head of Trajan right / [ΚΑΙСΑΡΕΩΝ] (ΠΡ) ΑΝΑΖΑΡΒΩ / [ET] ςKP (= yr 126 = A.D. 107/8), laureate and draped bust of Zeus right; in background, Anazarbus crag surmounted by Acropolis. RPC III 3366; SNG von Aulock 5475. Good Fine, dark green with lighter deposits in recesses and fields.
